Our Impact Strategy
Clean water lies at the crux of many challenges facing African people - health, education, human rights. H2OAfrica supports sustainable, integrated water programs. Sustainable -- in that projects are accompanined by training and maintenance to create a program that will live for the long run. Integrated -- in that activity will complement other programs in the region, such as education and infrastructure development. H2O Africa is raising awareness about the African water crisis, and facilitating cost-effective and impactful work that eradicates the problem in targeted regions of Africa. >> READ MORE |
Current News
Matt Damon, H2O Africa co-founder, and Gary White, WaterPartners executive director and co-founder, have joined forces to create a new organization: Water.org. Water.org combines the powerful marketing platform of H2O Africa with Water.org's proven track record of on-the-ground water project success. Why the change? The merger will increase efficiencies, leverage expertise, and increase the overall social return on donations. The result: far more people with access to safe drinking water and sanitation.

Featured Projects
Water.org has partnered with Pamoja Trust, an association of slum dwellers in Kenya, to provide safe water, sanitation, and hygiene education to people living in urban slums in Kisumu, Kenya.
